In conclusion, a Commando probably is better than an ARC for 1 on 1 combat, recon, and assassinations, but an ARC seems far better suited to be a field leader and to act as a tacticians. Colt and Havoc did go down easily, but given how personal Kamino was to clones they probably were not in their best mindstates, and it was a massive force invading. Echo probably also 'died' as a plot device or as a sacrifice ploy in his mind. They seem to be used often in most landbattles as special ops squads and as leadership.ДЄs for your argument, Plot Armor definitely had a part in Gregor's fight scene. They are far more skilled than a normal clone, and have far more independent thought. Rex is a good example of this, so is Cody, Wolffe, and Fox. Meanwhile, ARCs seem to be more tacticians and leaders. Potentially in high risk situations like Utapau and Battle of Coruscant they would be used, but not every battle. From what I've seen they rarely are used in large scale ground battles unless as a last resort (given the disastrous outcome of Gregor's battle, it is safe to assume he wasnt their first attack wave) or as a recon force. The commandoes seem to be like scout troopers to an extreme, work in small close knit units and last far from an outpost. He spent a long time away from the fight, washing dishes, but was still able to take an entire droid battalion, with amazing accuracy (best i've seen) and even surviving the entire place blowing up! I don't think an ARC trooper could of done that, at least not alone. The real reason I think Commandos are better is because of Gregor.To this day, I still have no idea why Echo (501st ARC) did what he did at the Citadel which would cause his transformation.Like no offense but they went down easily. Colt and Havoc, leader and member of the Rancor battalion, died easily.
